My name's Sarah. I'm a BEST certified Postpartum Doula serving the NC Triangle area.
I've been working in families' homes for over 7 years, helping establish safe sleep spaces, and feeding schedules, and providing much-needed support for birthing parents.I realized after my own postpartum experiences just how wonderful, joyful, and sometimes downright difficult the transition into parenthood or a new baby can be. I hope to provide parents with the compassionate and empathetic support they need during the postpartum period.
Services
At this time I provide overnight and weekend daytime support.
Minimum of 3 hours per shift.
$35/hour.Specific job duties will be discussed and agreed to during the interview process but some of the options are:
- Newborn care advice
- Feeding assistance/advice
- Caring for baby while parents sleep.
- Caring for baby or siblings while parents spend quality one on one time with children/baby
- Laundry help
- Dishes
- Tidying
- Meal prep
- Grocery shopping/other errands.
- Support and guidance while healing physically and emotionally after birth.
